Mission
The Media and Entertainment Technologies Lab (METLAB) at Michigan State University explores the use of multimedia and augmented reality technologies in business, entertainment, and educational applications. Recent decades have seen an explosive growth of multimedia technologies. Digital video, audio, and virtual reality have rapidly moved from the lab to the desktop, studio, and home. The METLAB works to develop new methods of using technology to author, deliver, and view multimedia content.
